Oh My Gawd

Ok I have been posting for a little while now and I can safety say I have not had a day in the trails like I had Yesterday. I Started out out In Boyette around 930 am. I Rode SST a few times to get my heart rate up and to kill time until My friend Devin showed up. Devin a Very experienced rider was going to show me the Trails I have never dared to go on to by myself. We started with Loch Ness a Familiar trail to me I ride it often an d the Spider Berm "not Bad"we rode up Mt Boyette to get to the top of the Park. And then I rode My first Difficult trail Ever "Pandemonium" Wow I did pretty Good But I was Getting Tired Really Fast but I Pressed On. Next ....... came the trail the kicked my Ass"Ridgeline" one of the toughest trails around. Now I know Why they have signs like Very dangerous trail and for Advanced Riders only. Witch Clearly I Know Now I am Not. I started well I got thru so very Harry drops and Inclines but Fatigue was set in and I was feeling it. I got about Half way thru and got up to a steep drop and on the way down went over the handlebars after hitting a rock on the the way down. After knocking the Wind out my self and Bruising a rib or two I knew I was not ready for that trail yet
I rode it out. Mostly on my brakes and Feet. but got thru it. It felt good to hear the guys pump me up on how I tried it when most people would not even attempt it.Bu the Crash and long day of riding has taken it toll on me. I was drained Emotionally and Physically. and I had at least 6 miles of trails to go just to get to my car.So weary we were we carried on We did another Run at Canyon and Spider Berm "the Upper Part this time "and rode the access trails all the way back to cars. almost 16 Miles total. I left the park at 3Pm feeling like I just got in a Fight With Mike Tyson. But its the day after now and even though Im Still Sore from Head to tow and My ribs Feel like They were Beat In with a Tire Iron I Still have the will to get back out and hit the Trails. I Know now I'm In it for good. I Love the way It makes me feel to do thing I have never thought I could do.
Cheers

PS I Just got My Helmet Cam today so No more Crappy Vids like the Ones you See Below.
